Program Management

Diamond M's Program Management service allows you to outsource the tasks of tracking and reporting your projects. I will meet with your Marketing and Engineering leads to establish a specification for the project, complete with time-lines and deliverables. Once mutually agreed upon and signed off by upper management, I will hold periodic status meetings and track the project to the schedule and budget. After each status meeting, I will issue a report detailing any deviation from the schedule and the seriousness of the deviation. A plan to mitigate any serious deviation will be created by the parties involved. After the project is over, a postmortem will be conducted to identify what went well and where the process needs to be tweaked.

The style of program management is determined by the type of project. I prefer a hybrid process, tilted a little more toward the Waterfall side than the Agile side, but projects where the requirements cannot be exactly known beforehand demand a more Agile approach.
